Northern Dragon Martial Arts has been taught in the Chippewa Valley for 15 years and we are now taking on more students. This comprehensive traditional martial art by the name of Bu Ryu Do is based on Okinawan Karate with an emphasis on the four fighting ranges. Head instructor James Ledebuhr has been training since 1989 and his co-instructor Travis Melvill has been studying the system for 15 years. Topics include but are not limited to: Self Defense, Traditional Punching and Kicking Techniques, Sparring, Kata, Weapons, Physical Conditioning, and much more.  We put an emphasis on discipline and respect, and we encourage families to work out together; kids can start as early as age seven! We also offer large family discounts.
